Maharashtra state’s very first High-Tech Digital Library is in Andheri (Western Suburban) and is one of its kind after the old Mumbai state central library (Asiatic Library) which was established in 1947 at Town Hall, Fort location. With best possible modern facilities and a separate reading room available, this library located at Guru Hargovindji Road, Andheri (East) which goes towards Ghatkopar is a big space with total four storey where ground floor is specially reserved as a children corner with lots of books for kids in different languages. Not just books library for kids, It also has Audio and VCD’s, X-boxes, toys which makes it a unique library where knowledge goes with fun factor.
First floor is loaded with lots of old reference books, about 400 CD’s, Video CD’s, Digital Videos (DVDs) with ample space left for as much space as 50 computers, all with Internet connections. Really, this digital library of Andheri is a real boon for library lovers and knowledge hungry people. Similarly, 2nd floor will have a huge collection of about 15 thousand to 16000 books, All absolutely free for citizen. Just take membership and enjoy this Mumbai’s free books library for reference.

This library is amazing it’s clean and silent and it is adjoining the garden so the view is also kick_ass with no disturbance and ambiance is such that you will feel like studying well maintained. There are no charges for the same but you will have to provide your Aadhar card Vaccine certificate there.
