Bandra Versova Link Overview

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has planned a coastal road plus a sea link stretching about 10 kilometers long between Bandra and Versova two of the very prominent locations of Mumbai suburb highly crowded because of its shopping options and beautiful tourist spots like beaches and malls and so as found half of the traffic towards south Mumbai is from this location and beyond. This will surely help reduce traffic congestion at S.V Road.

Facts about Sea Link and Coastal Road

• The plan is to have a sea link and a coastal road which will start from Bandra Worli Sea Link near reclamation which is recently opened for public till Versova (A Famous Location in Andheri) that covers versova & juhu beach.
• The approximate length of the sea bridge & coastal road will be 10 Kms distance.
• It is expected to be a Six Lane Project, First of its kind in Mumbai with approximate costing about 2300 crores.
  
• The road will be going underground at Juhu beach partially and same will emerge at Versova road.
