How Mumbai77.com Started
I am sure after reading above that as today i am a Blogger of Mumbai, between 2001 and 2007 I was not a web / internet guy, you might have got that i had no skill’s about Developing Web Programs or Designing a Website. And during 2007 i was working with one of a IT Giant. A good thing happened to me during those days was that i was introduced to a famous Network Marketing Company, But NO the product selling business didn’t inspired me to start something of my own, What actually Opened my eyes and mind together was the Business skills that i learned during the course via the Business System these MLM companies has. Another motivation and big credits to my virtual Guru ‘Robert Kiyosaki’, You might have heard of his famous book ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ which was an eye opener and still is for those who reads it for first time.
Associating with those MLM leaders and such books made my decision firm to get out of Job and start something of my own, BUT WHAT ?. These all happened between 2001 and 2005 when i got to know about Making income online via websites (Via Blogging and Advertising) about Mumbai city, and at the same time the floors of my job foundation started shaking and my giant company was about to get many changes and i have to move on. Another Job try and Got 2 to 3 offers among which one was a Internet Giant into Online matrimony business, Although the more lucrative offer was from a Linux Giant, it was 2007 and i preferred to join that Internet Giant (Focusing on my Online Business Goal), and Got associated with new world of Internet People. Although the association helped, my job was into systems and was not learning anything out of it. Pinching, the burning desire made me start my own firm. My Wife gets all the credits to take a firm decision, trusting my move and she left a nice corporate job to help me with the start up. It was 2008, with good salary and unsatisfied feeling of not able to explore my creativity and still in Rat Race, But by this time i had my first cranky wacky website (this) up and running with some 70 to 80 HTML pages developed with the help of my Friend ‘Venugopal’, It took little long as he was also busy with his Job.
Then something happened, In 2009 the IT Downfall laid me off my job and with little personal saving i took this decision to take my website to another level and survive on whatever income comes from online business. Those were the toughest days of my life, Yet ‘GOD HAD A PLAN’, i felt the layoff was a plan by god to get me into my own and get started seriously. 2009 to 2010 were the worst, and then started the whole new life of FREEDOM. The handwork started giving fruits and here i am ‘JACK OF ALL’ who now knows little about all internet aspects (Blogging, Designing, Programming, Marketing, SEO etc..) who was once ‘MASTER OF ONE’ (as IT professional). Still long to go, finally the message is ‘GOD HAS PLAN, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS’.
