Flora Fountain – Mumbai | Fountain Location Churchgate

One of the oldest monuments and Heritage of Mumbai, Flora Fountain is named in reference of Roman Goddess is located just 5 minutes walking distance from Churchgate Station. This Statue of made up of Portland Stone imported by Romans. Its a center of attraction of south Mumbai and connects surrounding areas like Colaba, CST, Fort and Gateway of India. Later on With Changes in Name it was Renamed to ‘Hutatma Chowk’ but still very famous as Fountain Area.
The Roman Goddess Statue is Surrounded by plants and Continue Flowing Artificial Water pool and Its beautifully Decorated with lighting effects that glows the Statue at night.

One can find Street Bookstalls in Flora Fountain which are mostly actually duplicate of original copy with cheap rate up to 100 rupees and less. Also the Baisc electronic shops on street are very famous for things like Gadgets, Watches, Binoculars, Walkman and lots such stuff. places like BSE and VSNL etc can be views from Flora area.

How to reach (Reaching Flora Fountain)

Getting Down at Churchgate Station which is last station at extreme south Mumbai, then go towards east, walking distance of hardly 3 minutes
