Peddar road is one of the alight location which is quite near to Altamount road and connects south of Mumbai to suburbs. MSRDC proposed cities longest flyover of 4.6 km to help easy traffic movement, but since the local residents protested against the same the flyover project of peddar road was on halt. With local protesters there were MCZMA (Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority) which is a government identity who takes care of environmental regulations, there was our famous legendary singer ‘Lata Mangeshkar’ who protested.

Finally it is said that now the flyover project will begin soon which will not interrupt Girgaum chowpatty and will be longest starting from L L Marg which is at Haji Ali to Marine Drive near G B Pant Marg overriding 10 traffic signals taking a delicate turn at Tambe Chowk which is near Wilson college and will be speed limited to 25 kilometer per hour there.

This biggest flyover of peddar road will cost about 205 crores approximately with helping commuters travel easy.
