This is one of the oldest Churches of Mumbai (Bombay) which was built by Portuguese under a name of “O Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Salvacao”. Very Famously Known as ‘Portuguese Church’ by Mumbaikars.

This Famous Portuguese Church is located in Dadar West, Just 10 minutes walkable distance, Alternately you can hire a cab. (Dadar Mumbai is in Western railway route) for people traveling via local trains in Mumbai.

Specialty / Speciality

Its a distinct barn like structure and also 200 to 300 year old church of Mumbai, and one of the only two churches in mahim dadar locations. Outside the Church’s main entrance, there is  mortuary a memorial to Baretto, and which still names this location as ‘Mahim’.
