Jogeshwari in Mumbai is one of the suburban stations area in westen railway route and populated well developed location which has goregaon as next station in north and Andheri as next south side station. The name Jogeshwari was given to this station because of the old Hindu goddess. It also has a old hindu cave in the name of god shiva. There is no special sightseeing places in jogeshwari except Fantacy Land which lies off Jogeshwari Vikroli Link Road a very important road travel place in this location.There is also a famous movie theater called 24 carats (Karats) at S.V Road near station.
Jogeshwari is also well connected to link road in west and has some famous area like Oshiwara which again connects to Andheri link road which has Fame Adlabs and such commerical hub.
Muslim, Maharastrians and Small parsi communites can be found in this station, Parsi community has some small old times bunglows. Some old time group buildings can be found here. If someone is looking for old Fataks (Road Crossing between East and West through railway tracks) Jogeshwari has one towards Andheri called ‘Amboli Fatak’ which connects to Mogra Pada Village in East.
