Since there are less BMC officials who do the pet licensing process, Its a great move my Govt to do license process online with forms to download by citizens. This way they will also earn revenue of pet license which was a loss in crores since last few years as people were unable too. This will also protect citizens with legal problems faced in case their pet bites others.

Charges of Pet License in Mumbai

• First time license charges Rupees 100/- into Number of years (age) of your Pet Dog.  That means you dog is 5 years old, then you need to initially pay Rupees 500/- as license fees.
• Then every year renewal fees for your pet license will be Rs.100.
• Extra, Rupees 150/- for license book issued.
