Referred to as Mama Bhanja Hills, the Yeoor Thane Hills entice cyclists to embark on thrilling dirt and rash biking expeditions during the monsoon season. The hilly terrain, though small and slightly muddy with pockets of collected water, adds an element of excitement for mountain riders in Mumbai and Thane.”

Yeoor Hills Biking

The cycling community in Mumbai is always buzzing with excitement, especially when they plan their epic long rides. One of their favorite routes starts in the suburbs of Mumbai and takes them from Kashimira on the Mira Road Highway, all the way to Ghodbunder Road. From there, they venture towards the breathtaking Yeoor Hills in Thane District. After soaking in the beauty of the hills, they continue their journey on a massive road that leads them to Mulund. On their way back, they pass through Powai and make a stop at the famous Aarey Milk Colony, a lush green paradise in Goregaon. The final leg of their ride takes them from Kandivali back to Kashimira. Oh, and let’s not forget about the failed cycling track project at BKC, which was quite a disappointment for the cycling enthusiasts.

Brace yourself for an exhilarating biking escapade at Yeoor that promises both adventure and a great workout. The undulating slopes and winding roads will surely get your adrenaline pumping. It’s crucial to be a skilled rider and ensure your bike is in top-notch condition for optimal control. Moreover, let’s advocate for more eco-friendly mountain biking experiences to foster a healthier city, and this article is a step in the right direction.
