Now a days it is very less expected that someone like taxi owner or the very next traveller gets a lost articles, baggages or any expensive bags or precious stuff and expect to get it back so easily. Usually next 10 minutes and the baggage is not seen once forgot. Still a hope, as not all people travelling via taxi (Black and Yellow ) know about the Lost + Found department for Yellow Black Taxi of Mumbai.
Generally the forgotten belongings like Clothes, Bags, Umbrellas, Laptops, Ornaments and cash are taken directly to nearest police stations as the chances and fear of having a bomb keeps the thoughts negative. Alternately Mumbai Taxi Union (MTU) office located at Mumbai Central also helps as all such forgotten articles are kept here for few days and then shifted to the main MTU office at Jogeshwari and kept for next 1 year and then removed.

I had taken taxi from outside DAE office, Gateway Of India on 05/04/2022 for Peddar Road along with my friends between 6.15 pm. to 6.30 pm. I was seating next to the taxi driver’s seat. I had to get down at S.K Patil Garden (Charni Road). I removed my purse to give money to my friend and kept the purse on my lap.
