Mumbai Airport Parking Facilities and Charges

“Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) is strategically positioned between the major suburbs of Andheri (International Airport) and Santacruz (Domestic Terminals), boasting a well-connected internal network. The airport offers ample parking facilities, accommodating up to 2250 cars/private vehicles. Update July 2015 : Mid-Day’s coverage of the security and risk issues at the Air Control Tower due to the current car and two-wheeler parking at the Domestic Airport has prompted Airport Authorities to take action. They have announced plans to construct a multi-level car parking facility at terminal 1B, with two basement levels and five above-ground floors. This proactive measure will address security concerns and provide convenience for visitors. It is commendable that Mid-Day brought attention to this issue, and the Airport Authority of India’s swift response is praiseworthy.

At the Domestic Airport Terminal in Santacruz East, there are a total of 740 parking slots for four-wheelers. On the other hand, at the International Terminal in Andheri East, there are 4700 parking slots available, which is commendable, especially considering their close proximity to the terminals. These parking facilities cater to four-wheelers, primarily cars, and there are also 500 slots available for two-wheelers. It is anticipated that with the new design, more space will be allocated to further enhance the experience for city passengers.

  1. There are these goons who just loot us in the name of parking charges.
Lat night i was at the airport where in i lost my parking coupon. I agree its my fault but the way you talk to a fellow citizen is also important. They were charging me 1200 Rs for the loss of a coupon. Mr. Government/ Mr. Authority responsible please hire staff he at least have the courtesy to talk nicely. Trust me if in no mood it would have not ended right for him.
