“I distinctly remember the first-day excitement of the first Mumbai Metro train operational (June 2014) running between Andheri and Ghatkopar.
Below are some Metro Trains pictures of that day of the elevated metro train and every little thing around that shows the excitement of people who wanted to experience this first AC train in Mumbai for years.
Mumbai Metro 1 is still running between Ghatkopar and Versova and for Day 1, I was one of those lucky to get in that huge excited crowd to get these snaps. It was a lovely experience capturing the excitement as seen in the below pictures & Video.”

What I experienced as a newbie metro traveler was That elevated view of T2 airport, Those roads of Andheri, Brand new and clean stations, A classy looking train, Corridors, Branding of Reliance and MMRDA, Those Shanties of Asalfa village, Those big glass windows of Metro train, and people clicking pictures and selfies on that free ride day. The below photos are clicked on the very first day (opening day) of Mumbai Metro Train 1 of now total 12 (under construction)..”
